Description
Poolaknits Hattara is a combination of a hood and a balaclava and it’s knitted with boucle yarn held in double, creating a loose fit for the hood. The boucle yarn gives the knit a lovely fuzzy texture, and with the yarn held in double the project is quick to knit with thick needles. The balaclava is knitted bottom up starting from the shoulder part, which is shaped with decreases along the neck. A tall ribbing is knitted to the neckline, before shaping the hood. Ribbing is also knitted around the face-opening. which is then folded in half, adding a tightening string inside. Â
