Description
About the Magnolia sweater:
The sweater is knitted from the bottom up, first in one piece in the round up to the armholes, after which the work is divided into the front and back pieces, which are knitted separately and finally joined at the shoulders. Stitches are picked up for the neckline ribbing which at the end is folded inside the work creating a double-folded collar. When the body is ready, stitches for the sleeves are picked up and knitted along the armholes and the sleeves are worked in the round down to the cuffs. The broken rib stitch pattern is created by alternating stockinette stitch and 1 x 1 ribbing between rows.

Measurements:
- Bust circumference of the final sweater: 98(108)118(128)138(148) cm / 38(42)46(50)54(58)”
- Length from neckline to hem approx. 54(55)56(57)58(59) cm / 21(21)22(22)23(23)”
Magnolia sweater is designed to have approx. 20 cm / 7.5” of positive ease, meaning it is designed to be 20 cm / 7.5” larger in circumference than your bust measurement.
Here’s how to choose the right size: Measure your own bust circumference (or the widest point on your upper body), add 20 cm / 7.5” to it, and based on the sum, choose the right size according to the dimensions of the finished sweater. For example, if your chest circumference is 108 cm / 42”, choose size number 4.
