You need DK-weight yarn for approx. 200 m / 220 yds
Sample knitted with 1 skein of  Ruukin kehräämö 100 % alpaca yarn (100 g / 380 m) in colorway Grey holding two strands of yarn together.

You can use any DK-weight yarn or combination of yarns as long as the gauge is met.

Gauge:
21 sts x 23 rows = 10 x 10 cm / 4 x 4″ in stockinette knit with 3 mm / US 2.5 needles (after blocking). Adjust your needle size if necessary to achieve the correct gauge.
