Description
Clement is knitted top-down in one piece. The back is worked flat first, down to the sleeve opening, after which stitches are picked up from the shoulders for the front pieces. The neckline is shaped with increases, one shoulder at a time. Once the front and back pieces are long enough, they are joined, and the body is worked in the round down to the hem. Stitches are picked up for the sleeves, which are knitted in the round and finished with snug ribbing. Stitches are also picked up for the neckline, and a ribbed trim is worked with smaller needles—first around the v-neck opening and then around the entire neckline.
