Overview of the socks:
The Brookie Socks are knitted from the cuff down to the toe using fingering-weight yarn. They feature beautiful cable details that flow seamlessly from the cuff all the way to the toes. The back of the leg is worked in a firm twisted rib that continues throughout the sock. The socks include a reinforced heel, and the toe is finished with grafting for a neat look.

Sample knitted with: 1 skein of Säie Wool Merino Sock (425 m / 470 yds / 100 g, 75 % superwash merino wool, 25 % nylon), photographed in colorway Oh so pretty.
Needles:
2 mm / US 0 long circular needles
The pattern is written for the Magic Loop Technique, but you can also use double-pointed needles)
Notions: Removable stitch markers, tapestry needle, cable needle or double pointed needle
Gauge: 38 sts x 44 rows = 10 x 10 cm / 4 x 4″ in cable pattern with 2 mm / US 0 needles (after blocking). Change the needle size if needed to achieve the right gauge.
