Poolaknits Margo is a light mohair sweater with a simple purled stripe pattern. The sweater is knitted with two strands of mohair held together, creating a soft and airy feel. Margo is a boxy sweater with a relaxed fit and European shoulder-design. The sweater is knitted top down starting from the top of the back which is knitted flat. The stitches for the front are picked up from the top of the back. Once the top part of the front is finished, you will join in the round. The stitches for the sleeves are picked up from the armholes and knitted in the round. The neckline is finished with a simple and timeless i-cord edging. The sweater hem and sleeves are finished with a ribbing.

Note! The sweater has around 15-30 cm of positive ease, so choose a size that’s around 15-30 cm larger than your bust circumference. Alternatively if you prefer the sweater to have a tighter fit, choose a size with bust circumference close to yours.

Note! You can knit the sweater with any lace-strength mohair yarn (held in double), as long as it meets the gauge (below).

– 3,5 mm: Double pointed needles and 60/80 cm circular needles
– 5 mm: Double pointede needles, 40 cm and 60/80 cm circular needles
