Description

Overview of the sweater:

Rib Tide Sweater is a stylish saddle shoulder pullover, worked seamlessly from the top down with beautiful details both in the seams and in its textured broken rib fabric. This sweater is knit using the contiguous method, where increases are first worked only for the body and added later for the sleeves, ensuring a better fit. To improve the neckline shaping, short rows are worked across the back at the beginning so the front neckline sits comfortably lower.

The twisted rib seams flow seamlessly from the neckline all the way down through the body to the hem, giving the sweater a refined look. All ribbings are worked in twisted rib. The neckline ribbing can be worn tall, as shown in the sample, or folded double to the inside for a more understated finish.

If you’re looking for a saddle shoulder sweater with eye-catching details and an addictive yet simple stitch pattern, this design is for you. The sweater gets its name from its pattern, which evokes the movement of water.
