Note! The cardigan has around 15-25 cm / 6-10 inches  of positive ease, so choose a size that is around 15-25 cm / 6-10minches larger than your bust circumference (or widest part). If you want a tighter fit, choose a size with a bust circumference closer to yours. 

Length of the finished cardigan from shoulder to hem: approx. 50(50)52(54)56(56)60(62) cm / 20(20)20.5(21)22(22)23.5(24) inches

Note! You can knit the cardigan with any other yarn as long as you meet the correct gauge. The cardigan pictured in the pattern is knitted with Nurja Merino Single, in the shade Spinelli. The buttons are from Petite Knit. 

Knitting needles: 

• 3 mm / US2.5: double pointed needles and 60/80 cm / 24/32 inches circular needles
• 4 mm / US6: 40 cm / 16 inches and 60/80 cm / 24/32 inches circular needles

Other materials: stitch markers, tapestry needle, popper buttons (5 pcs) with approx. 2 cm / 0.8 inches circumference 

Gauge (in brioche stitch): 10 x 10 cm = 23 sts x 30 rows. 

In brioche stitch both back and forth rows are counted, so you will have 30 stitches per 10 cm / 4 inches. Note! The gauge in the pattern is measured from a finished cardigan, so make sure to steam or block (wash and dry to shape) your swatch before measuring it. The brioche stitch is very stretchy, so make sure to take the measurements from the middle of your swatch. If necessary, alter your needle size to obtain the correct gauge.
