Description
Overview of the sweater:
The Kiss Me Sweater is a soft and airy V-neck classic, knitted from the top down. What makes Kiss Me so charming are the thoughtfully crafted details that elevate this otherwise simple knit into a timeless wardrobe staple. The sweater features dropped European shoulders and a beautifully finished V-neckline. Long, fitted ribbing at the hem and cuffs brings structure and balance to the relaxed silhouette. Worked with large needles, this sweater knits up quickly — and the pattern includes clear step-by-step illustrations to help you visualize the construction of the twisted neckline.
The sweater begins with the neckline ribbing, which is cast on at the center back. Stitches are then picked up for the back, which is then shaped with increases and worked flat to the armholes. Next, stitches are picked up for the fronts, while the neckline ribbing continues and the V-neck is shaped with increases. Once the neckline is joined and the front has been worked to the correct length, the back and front are united to work the body in the round. The body is finished with a long ribbed hem. The sleeves are then worked in the round and finished with matching long ribbed cuffs.
