Description

Cry me a river is an easy cable knit hat that is worked bottom up in the round. First you knit the rib edging  and then continue with slightly larger needles with an easy cable pattern. You can choose any DK weight yarn for this hat or a combination that is equivalent to DK yarn.

Size: 1 (adult)

Measurements: 

• circumference of your head approx.  54-60 cm / 21-24 inches

Yarn: DK weight yarn

• DK weight yarn (one string of yarn): 400 m / 60 g

Example yarn (2 strings held together)

• La Bien Aimee Kumo: 200 m / 30 g
• La Bien Aimee Felix: 200 m / 30 g

Note! You can knit the hat with any DK weight yarn, as long as it meets the gauge (below). Yarn in pictures is  La Bien Aimeen Kumo and Felixi held together in colorway Fluoro Morganite

Needles: 

• 4 mm / US6 40 cm / 16 inches  circular needles /double pointed needles
• 3 mm / US2,5 40 cm / 16 inches circular needles or double pointed needles

Other materials: Stitch markers, tapestry needle 

Gauge (stockinette stitch): 10 x 10 cm  ‘4×4 = 20 sts x 22 rows. (Alter the needle size if necessary, to meet the gauge)
